With innovative resistor technology is the first of its kind and is sure to impress by offering increased performance and added flexibility. The newly patented AC discharging bar with a freestanding air-supported spring tip achieves a very high passive discharge effect, which enables active operation even at a low level of high voltage AC. A small amount of air can be blown through the hollow spring tip to increase the range and to continuously clean the emission tips.
The bar's aluminium profile is equipped with a highly insulating, mechanically robust layer that, in combination with the freestanding spring tip, causes a significant increase in ion production. The new R60 Eltex bar features excellent discharging results at low and maximum speeds. The special feature here is that the discharge performance remains constant from short distances up to large ranges. It is exactly this wide-ranging performance that characterizes the R60 as the only static discharging bar in the world that can be used in different geometric situations – even in narrow, grounded machine environments.

R50 – Discharging Bar with fixed connection
R51 – Discharging Bar with plug-type connection
The Eltex R50 static discharge bar is the most powerful static elimination electrode in the Eltex range.
With an emission pin spacing of 15mm, the R50 provides ultimate discharge range, enhanced depth effect, high active discharge power through isolated ground conductors and high safety standards through passive discharging power with deactivated power supplies.
The R50 has an integral mounting channel with slide nuts (M5) which gives an unmatched degree of mounting options.
As with all Eltex static discharging systems, the R50 is designed to prevent electric shocks through contact with the electrode points.
It can also offer enhanced safety through function and malfunction monitoring when coupled with the appropriate power supply.
The R50 can be supplied with either axial or radial HV cable connection (radial connection rotatable by 360°), a maximum active length 3,915 mm and an operating voltage of either 5 or 8kV.
The R51 version has a detachable high voltage cable, but is restricted to an operating voltage of 5kV.

EXR5C Discharging Bar for Atex classified areas
The EXR5C static elimination electrode offers the same advantages as the R50 bar detailed above, but has approval for use in EX zones according to BAS98ATEX2179X.
The EXR5C also offers enhanced safety through function and malfunction monitoring and machine control in conjunction with its ES53 power supply.
As with the R50, the EXR5C has an integral mounting channel with slide nuts (M5) which gives an unmatched degree of mounting options, is designed to prevent electric shocks through contact with the electrode points and has a 15mm emission point spacing for ultimate discharging effect in an Ex approved bar.

Static Discharging Bar - R45
R45 Low Profile Static Discharging Bar until max. 6 kV at 1600 mm active length
The R45 is a low profile static elimination electrode which uses a resistive coupling with a pin spacing of 20mm for excellent discharge range and hence enhanced depth effect and high active discharge power through isolated ground conductors.
High safety standards are achieved through passive discharging power with deactivated power supplies and can be enhanced by optional function and malfunction monitoring in connection with the appropriate power supply.
The “D” shape of the R45 offers extremely flexible installation options, whilst the resistive coupling ensures that no electric shocks are experiences due to inadvertent contact with the discharging tips
The R45 is available with a fixed, axial HV cable attachment, a maximum active length of 1600mm and an operating voltage 6 kV AC.

R44LS – Discharging Bar with rear air channel
R44LS is a single-row discharging bar with an integrated air channel which supplies air through the discharge bar between the emission pins.
The R44LS is available with a fixed, axial HV cable connection and a maximum active length of 1,995 mm.

SDS Smart Discharging System
Part of our extensive static discharging equipment range, the new Eltex SDS Static Discharging bars provide a stand-alone discharge bar which does not require an expensive High Voltage Power Supply. Instead, it uses a simple 24V power supply, either taken from a machine control circuit, or via a simple commercial power supply.
The SDS is ideal for those one-off problems which often occur on unwind or rewind stations, or where static control is required at both ends of a machine, which would otherwise require very long HV cables to be routed. Delivery stations on sheetfed presses are a typical example.
The SDS also has a longer range than the traditional R50 discharge bar which is limited to 70-100mm from the web. The SDS 7 has a range of <150mm, whilst the SDS11 has a range of >150<300mm; more than enough for most sheetfed printing and wind/unwind stations on plastics web processing.
The SDS is ideal for those difficult delivery problems on injection moulding machines, as it can be easily positioned along a delivery conveyor, or where the components are fed into a plastic bag or bin, to prevent static shocks or component “clumping”.
Easy to install, long range and versatile; the Eltex SDS provides an ideal solution for those one-off static problems.

LR36 – Ion Blower Nozzle Carrier
Electrostatic charges building up during the production process cause disruptions. Discharging using the LR36 ion blower nozzle carrier effectively eliminates these charges even at longer ranges. This is particularly important when reeling on or off because the reel diameter and therefore the distance to the discharging unit changes permanently. The compact design of the ion blower nozzle and the high efficiency allow a wide variety of different applications and uses.

Eltex Static Combi Cleaner –
Cleaning of three-dimensional surfaces
Most plastic and synthetic materials in use today have a very strong tendency to create static surface charges, with the effect that the surfaces have a similarly powerful tendency to attract air-borne particles. This can result in major problems and loss of quality during certain processes. Eliminating dust and dirt settling on three-dimensional and structured surfaces with conventional methods is notoriously difficult. Due to their geometry, components such as product carriers that are in continuous revolving operation are also very difficult to clean down. The dynamic ionizing blower station has been specially developed for applications such as these.
Mode of function
Ionizing bars attached at the inlet and outlet point neutralize the plastic surfaces. The patented variable-speed rotary nozzles mounted inbetween capture the particles carrying static charges and propel them in the direction of the extraction channel where they are eliminated safely and thoroughly. The integrated variable-speed control of the cleaning nozzles keeps an even and pressure-independent rotary speed that, in turn, guarantees a consistent and excellent cleaning result with its pulsating and highly efficient air cleaning effect. Rotary speed and air velocity can be adapted to optimized cleaning requirements.
